THE MEAL |
 The
same caterer as last year had prepared the meal. The tables were properly
set; the buffet had a lot of varieties and was very nicely presented, a
real pleasure for the eyes and for the mouth. The guests served themselves
a few times and obviously with the quantity and the quality. Several people
offered drinks to their table neighbors while chatting. There were 3 compatriots
at the table: Vladimir, from Belgrade who also possesses a Sarplaninac,
Dingo, coming from Belgrade, Milisav, owner of our dog Yak (Jak) and a new
acquaintance, a lady from Luxemburg who came to show us her Sarplaninac
male dog, Taras, who comes from the kennel of Steva Vukasovic. I was relieved
that my friend Christel, Vladimir’s wife, entertained the 3 German
couples, which have dogs from my kennel. There were a lot of Sarplaninac,
young and older, who were lying under the tables, behaving properly, without
being noticed! |
