Although it looked that participation will be very modest, I was pleasantly surprised.
On this 11th meetiong, the last generation came in the «big number», Papynouche Houmy travelled about 500 km to meet his Jojo and one big surprise, after several years of absence, Marianne with her dog Qara(pacha) suddenly appeared. Houmy dreamt all night about the meeting with <jojo and our joy, although mixed with nostalgic feeling, was great to see them walking in the morning shoulder to schoulder, without looking to each other, but very exited because of this renewed encounter.
What touched us the most, Stan and me, was the presence of 5 Qara brothers in 12th year of age. They posed for the photographers ! This is so nice and touchy, our big wish for them to gather again next year ! It’s of course pity that Qarabimba, Qaraboutza, Quetch and Qroucha were missing.
The weather was quite acceptable, bit of rain, but temperature was pleasant for the dogs and we were able to make our usual walk, that contributed for the youngest one to relax who was rather suspicious in the presence of other dogs.
The organisation was well functioning and all participants were satisfied with the rich meal prepared by a new caterer.
